Pictured with her Rescue Dog Maximus

Our shy girl Sadie, she was rescued from the hot California Desert. Sadie was running as a stray along with her sidekick Daisy (Yes, the same Daisy who is now Zoey!). This girl was very fearful of men, so who knows what the poor gal had gone through. One of our contacts called us and asked if we could help before they both ended up in one of many California high kill shelters. We at Working Dogs Rescue knew we had to save this adventurous duo from the awful fate.

We brought her to Ohio and began to work with her on her fears [of males]. We found a wonderful woman who had a German Shepherd in the past with the same issues. Laura decided she wanted to love and adopt Sadie, to help her though her fears and that she did! This amazing girl is now in a loving home with Laura with brother and sister dogs and cats and even a dad! Sadie is no longer fearful of men and we love seeing all the updates from her family.

We love you Sadie girl!
